Spring cleaning is in full swing over here. There has been lots of organizing going on. S and I even tackled our overflowing linen closet. One issue I came across is the sheer number of throw blankets we have. Don’t get me wrong—I love them. But, I needed somewhere to put them. This led me to an hours long hole of looking at pretty storage baskets. While I ended up purchasing a massive basket from Wayfair, there were so many good finds, that I just have to share.
I am a firm believer in the fact that every rooms needs some sort of natural element. Baskets are the perfect way to do it. They’re the perfect blend of practical and pretty. Below are some that caught my eye during my search.

I purchased #4 and am obsessed with it. As in, you’ll probably see it referenced at least a few more times. I got the largest size and it’s huge. The thing easily fits four to five folded throw blankets. As a bonus, it’s a great dupe for a style I’ve frequently seen around Pinterest and Instagram. Like in this stunning foyer from Meg Braff.

Or in this coastal inspired entryway from Jenny Keenan.

I’ve been eyeing #3 for awhile. The scallop detail on the liners is so pretty. A set of these would look right at home in a nursery, like in this one from Emily Hertz (Born on Fifth). #6 would also look great in a kid’s room or nursery.

For a more grown-up use for the scalloped baskets, check out this office from Nine and Sixteen.
