With the temps warming up, I’ve been eyeing summer-y prints. One that I keep going back to is Citrus Garden from Schumacher. The best way to describe this print is cheerful. You literally can’t help but smile when looking at it. As a bonus, it comes in three colors. It is also available as both fabric and wallpaper.

The fabric version comes in three colors—Pool, Lime, and Primary. The wallpaper is available in Pool and Primary.

Inspiration
I know—seeing it by itself can be overwhelming because it is such a colorful pattern. Let’s look at it in some rooms. I think you’ll be surprised by how versatile this pattern is.
First up is this fabulous bedroom by Ashley Whittaker. I love how the soft green background lets the upholstered bed really pop.

Where the Ashley Whittaker bedroom above is bright and colorful, this kitchen by Means + Carney INTERIORS is much more muted. Citrus Garden is really the only dominant pattern.

This dining area, by Heather Scott Home & Design, uses drapery panels in the Primary colorway. Paired with navy, this funky pattern feels very traditional.

This bedroom by GordonDunning Interior Design would be a wonderful kid’s room. The skirted table and patterned headboards feel very whimsical.

While we’re on the topic of whimsy…this lakeside living room by Chenault James offers another take on Citrus Garden.

Of course, I need to share at least one example of it being used as wallpaper. This pretty dining area by Pamela Harvey Interiors is the epitome of “traditional with a twist.”

And finally, this kitchen by James T. Farmer is just so beautiful.

Update
Apparently, there is a FOURTH colorway only in the indoor/outdoor fabric called Garden. With its peach and blush tones, it is definitely my favorite of the four colors. Photo below from the Schumacher site.
