Memorial Day is next week. I am definitely looking forward to the unofficial start to Summer. After being cooped up this Winter, we are ready to make the most of the warmer weather. This year, that definitely includes entertaining. Making up for lost time, am I right?! S and I are busy painting our deck this week. It is going from black to dusty blue. What can I say? I wanted something fun. The little refresh has me wanting to really take it up a notch this year in terms of outdoor decor.
After a little poking around, I found some really great stuff.

Pillows
Outdoor pillows are a great way to add a little extra personality to your entertaining space. I like the jute trim on the navy one. It adds a nice texture. The floral one is good for adding a layer of pattern.
Umbrella
I’m pretty sure that no patio is complete without an umbrella. Not only does an umbrella provide welcome shade on hot days—but it can also be a fun design element! I’m obsessed with the stripe and fringe combo of this one
Pretty Planters
I like having flowers on our deck to add another layer of color. With that being said, I like my planters to be on the neutral side. A few white planters are on my list of things to get this year.
Extra Seating
I have seen foldable bamboo chairs like these before and loved them. However, I thought they would be crazy expensive. I was pleasantly surprised to find an affordable option. I also like that they’re foldable and can be stored easily until they’re needed.
Lighting
We added solar lights to the garden beds in the front of the house a few years ago. The plan is to add a few to the back this year. They add a nice glow once the sun goes down.
Fun Table Linens
I am ALL about block prints right now. I thought these cloth napkins were so pretty. Plus, they’re blue and white. You can’t go wrong with that.
A Fire Pit
Getting a fire pit has been on my list for a few seasons now. I think that this might finally be the year I buy one. I like the shape of this one—it’s a little more interesting than a normal round or square one.
A Nice View
Our deck overlooks a few garden beds that need some serious love. I have a couple rose bushes arriving next week. But, in the meantime, I’m browsing for inspiration for the rest of the space.
