Alright, alright. I’ve been saying this a lot lately, but it’s been radio silence over here. And, I’m finally ready to spill the beans as to why. Are you ready? S and I are expecting our first baby! Baby girl is due this Spring. And let me tell you, first trimester exhaustion was no joke. Usually, I dedicate a few hours after work to blogging. But, the last few months, I’ve been getting home, only to immediately take a nap. Or two. Oops.
Now that we’re past the first few months, and the early pregnancy nasties —looking at you, morning sickness— are starting to let up, I’m going to try to get back into the groove. Starting with pretty nursery decor. Because, let’s be honest, that’s the only type of decor I’ve been thinking about for weeks.
First up, this blue beauty from Born on Fifth and Clary Bosbyshell. I love the tone on tone look.
Below is another Clary Bosbyshell nursery. That Chinoiserie accent wall is 👌.
I also love this nursery by Nicola Bathie McLaughlin. Yes—THAT Nicola Bathie McLaughlin, the jewelry designer. Talk about being multi-talented. I’m also obsessed with the scalloped storage baskets.
The striped ceiling in this blush nursery from Tori Alexander is stunning. Check out more pictures here.
If this one looks familiar, it’s because I’ve shared it before in this post on chinoiserie wallpaper oanels. Typically, I try to not share pictures twice. BUT, I’mm making an exception for this design by Amy Berry. It just looks so serene.
This nursery, but Tori Robinson is so fun. I love the mix of pink and blue.
Last one. I’m obsessed with this sweet nursery design by Samantha Varvel. you can see more pics here.
Alright. Now that I have some solid nursery decor inspiration, I need to work on actually choosing things for the nursery.
